I am a citizen of the universe. I was born many years ago in a small South American paradise, I presently live in Southern California. Like all that tread this earth, my life has been a mixture of ups and downs, forcing me to become a permanent observer and an incessant learner.
During the latest years of my life, I have been collecting articles which have been discarded, and this has become my passion, and I have started the journey of the renounced to a new form.
I have initiated a small recycling adventure through these rejected items. These discarded objects have become the instruments of my work. I have based this project on my humble desire to inform, transmit, protest, and alert about the waste in this precious earth, and the impact that it has on the planet. The explanation for this is that I have observed very closely the contrast between abundance and scarcity, and I have tried always to maintain an appreciation for the earth's bounty.
I am fascinated by colors, so I have made this project as universally colorful as possible. I have been imbuing these objects with repudiated papers, magazines, pictures, poems, cards, written publications, that with its metamorphosis will simply tell moments of time, of events, of people, of life.
